Privacy Notice

Draft for an early-stage product. Items marked “TO CONFIRM” must be completed by the operator before this notice is relied on. Last updated: 28 October 2026

1. Who we are

Recoverly is operated by Elliot Harris (trading as Recoverly), 32 Hospital Houses, Hereford HR4 7RE. Privacy questions: SFR.build@gmail.com. Data-protection (ICO) registration: not yet confirmed — we are checking whether a data-protection fee is required and will update this notice.

2. Two different things this notice covers

3. Pilot enquiry form

The form asks for your name, business name, business email, business type, approximate number of sites and an optional message. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and assess whether a pilot is appropriate. We do not add you to a marketing list.

The form does not currently send information to a Recoverly server. When an enquiry address is configured, pressing submit opens your own email app with the details filled in, and the enquiry is sent only if you send that email. It is then received in our Gmail inbox, provided by Google.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and assessing whether a pilot is suitable, and taking steps at your request before entering into a pilot agreement.

Please do not send invoices, contracts or other confidential documents through the form.

4. The CSV audit tool

In the current version, CSV files you load are read and checked inside your web browser. The audit process does not upload the file contents to a Recoverly server or save them; refreshing or closing the page clears them. Exports you download are saved to your own device.

Recoverly is an early-stage prototype. Please do not load confidential business information until you are satisfied with its capabilities and data-handling arrangements. Use fictional or anonymised data for demonstrations.

Any pilot involving real data will have its own data-handling arrangements agreed in writing beforehand: [TO CONFIRM: pilot data-handling terms].

5. Service providers

The website is hosted by Lovable, which uses Cloudflare infrastructure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers and shares your IP address with them. The hosting platform may collect technical error reports and usage information: [TO CONFIRM: confirm which hosting analytics or error-reporting services are active and what they receive].

International transfers: we do not deliberately send your information outside the UK. Our service providers (Lovable, Cloudflare and Google) may process data outside the UK, relying on their own safeguards for international transfers.

6. Cookies and tracking

Recoverly’s own code does not set cookies or run marketing trackers. [TO CONFIRM: confirm whether the hosting platform sets any cookies or uses analytics, and list them here].

7. How long we keep information

Enquiry emails are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted from our inbox, unless a pilot or agreement is in place.

8. Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, ask us to restrict or stop using it, object to its use, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Some rights apply only in certain circumstances. To make a request, contact [TO CONFIRM: privacy contact email].

9. Complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to help. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.
